Coastal Awareness and Appreciation Week
This week following the 2016 Coastal Cleanup, the Guam Environmental Protection Agency will be hosting its first annual Coastal Awareness and Appreciation Week at various GDOE middle and high schools. GEPA will be showcasing a variety of presentations, including Coral Bleaching Awareness, Haggan Watch, and much more. Find out more »20th Annual Coastal Cleanup
Every year Guam participates in the International Coastal Cleanup organized by the Ocean Conservancy. The cleanup will be from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2016. Families and groups of all ages are encouraged to attend. Coastal Cleanup is the largest volunteer event in Guam. The cleanup is organized by the Guam Coastal Management Program of the Bureau of Statistics and Plans.
